PT Swadaya Union Naratama was first established by Mr. Indra Sundjojo and Mr. Soelaksmono on September 30, 1981. Successfully won the trust to cooperate with the Government through the Public Works and Jasa Marga Office. It started by setting up an office in Garasi Rumah Jln Flamboyan, Jakarta and then moved to the Grogol Permai Office complex with 40 permanent employees and has assets in the form of heavy vehicles and asphalt factories in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan to support construction work.

In 1996, Indonesia experienced an economic crisis that resulted in the cessation of development projects belonging to the Government. As a result of the economic crisis, many jobs were stopped and did not get paid. PT Swadaya Union Naratama had to release some of the most important assets in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan and a house on Jln Flamboyan, Jakarta, and had to cut off work relations with employees.

In 2006, Mr. Indra Sundjojo again received projects continuously from PT Indofood Group. Through this opportunity, PT Swadaya Union Naratama tried to work with the private sector and add employees.
